Other Activities of the Trust

Our trust has done so many social activities - these are some samples. 

1. A free medical camp was conducted on 30.03.2006 for diagnosis and treatment for diabetic patients. On 29.04.09 A free Medical Camp was conducted for rural people.

2. A free Medical camp was conducted on 29.04.2006 to treat diabetic patients.

3. A free Medical Camp was conducted 20.05.2006 for diabetic patient and general health.

4. A free Medical Camp was conducted of 07.05.2008 for Women and Child Welfare. A free Medical camp was conducted on 18.07.2009 for child health care in rural area.

5. A free medical camp was conducted on 21.04.2010 in rural area to make awareness for aids. A free Medical camp was conducted in Hindu College rural area to make awareness of Thyrid Problems. A free Medical Camp was conducted in Rajakamangalam Thurai rural area to treat all kind of patients. Still now we are doing tree Medical Camps in rural areas in frequent intervals.

Youth Clubs

Youth clubs were organized-& formed at Muttom, Kadiapattanam, Azhikal, Kurumpanai, Chinnavilai, Kottilpadu, Kodimunai and- Vaniyakudy. Each youth club functions with their own leadership and freedom. The members of the club study the needs of their village and they ways and means to fulfill these needs with the locally available resources. The unemployed youth conduct adult and non formal educational programme in the village.

Women Empowerment Programme

Women are the weaker section of the society and they are still facing the problems of till-treatment, slavery inequality. Women need to be respected and dignified. It is with this intention our Trust organized seminar on "Women Empowerment Programmes". Women participated from Vaniakudy, Kodimunai, Middalam & other coastal village. Every year on 8th of March Women's Day is celebrated. This day is meant for promoting the status of women through legal measures. Women's education, health, employment and legal social status are the foremost priorities for empowering the women.

Help to Poor Paramedical Student

Every year we select very poor students from out villages and help them for their education. We also support intelligent students by giving awards and prizes. Uniforms are also given to poor students. During this year we supported 10 students.

Environment Awareness Programme

Environment awareness programmes was conducted in 18 coastal villages "Healthy life will make you Wealthy" is the slogan we teach to the people in the villages. Clean drinking water, keeping the body neat and clean. Using toilet are the important sanitation tips given to the people to have a healthy life.

Relief measures to Tsunami affected people. While the Tsunami disaster struck the coastal villages of Kanyakumari district dated on 26.12.2004 an emergency meeting of the board was convened and a committee was organized for the purpose of providing relief measures to Tsunami victions. We meet and provided medial treatment.
